"Disappointment: The Aftermath of your Greatest Rise" | Bobby Dsouza

Why did it not work out? Why is it taking so long? My hard work and sweat have gone down the drain? What was the use of putting in so much of my energy, time, and money when it was never supposed to happen? What wrong did I do that this is happening to me? Is life just crap? This is just useless!

I know life happens. A lot of times, disappointment can get the better of us, especially when long-invested efforts have failed to materialize in the time we expected. These times are really tough to handle and can make even the strongest of us bleed. We may feel like abandoning our mission and trying to cool off the hurt of disappointment.

In fact, the picture above is actually an Elon Musk SpaceX rocket. Elon Musk and his team experienced numerous setbacks and failures during the early days of SpaceX, particularly with their attempts to launch rockets. The team may have faced many tested failures. But they kept going, persevered, learned from their mistakes, and eventually achieved significant milestones, such as successful launches and the development of reusable rocket technology. Today, the world is awestruck by the milestones that were once unthinkable.

Sometimes, if we have a bad day, a bad week, or even a bad several days, it doesn't mean it's the end. Remember, if you've had the worst experience, the good news is, what can be worse than that? It means you can only rise and get better from there.

Here's the good part: the hard work, the time you invested, the lessons you learned, and the midnight oil you burned have created within you a rocket of character and mindset that will only propel you higher. So, at this very moment, don't give in to your doubts. Don't throw in the towel. Keep standing on your unwavering confidence. Though the night may seem stormy and dark, though the torrential rain may seem to be creating chaos, you will rise. You will rise from the fall, and you will get better. You even need these disappointments to open your eyes and lead you to newer paths, if you let them!
